We here in the Heart of Florida welcome any person interested in learning about Occupational Health or has years of experience to our group. The Heart of Florida encompasses Polk, Hardee and Highland County. We have Occupational Health Nurse from all walks of life, we have Nurses that are based in Hospitals, Factories, Mines, Chemical Plants, Clinics, and many other, so come and join us. We hold our meeting the second Tuesday of every other month.
Listed below are our upcoming meetings for January and March 2012. Time: 5:30 business meeting, class starts at 6 pm
We are going to start out the year with a Meeting at Watson Clinic with Dr. DuPont
who use to be with Moffit Cancer center and is now with Watson Clinic.
She is going to give us an update in breast cancer treatments.
This will be a great meeting and with someone very knowledgeable in this
subject. The meeting will be held on Monday January 9 at 5:30 pm at the
LakelandCancer Center.
March we are going to have a Hospice update, they are going to go over how=
to get someone in hospice and also cover what all services they offer.
